Dublin HELP Awards Honour Community Service

The Church of Scientology & Community Centre of Dublin marked International Volunteer Recognition Day 2026 by holding the sixth annual HELP Awards, an event dedicated to recognising people and groups helping others throughout Ireland. The event brought together volunteers, community leaders, human rights advocates, changemakers and past honourees.

Previous awardee Frank Allen, playwright, director and former Dublin Prisons teacher, delivered a keynote address during the ceremony. This year’s award recipients included Walk And Talk and Stephen Brennan, the Kurdish Community of Ireland and Mokthar Moradi, the Indonesian-Irish Association and Irene Murphy, Scoil Rince Ní Áogain and Denise Egan, Nicolae Dulea, Joseph Orgin and Feljose Shristeca, Stefano Bonvini, Mohammed Rashid of Safco Fine Foods, Mass Events Ireland, Dr. Mahesh Baj, and Neera Baj.

Established in 2019 by the Scientology Volunteer Ministers, the HELP Awards celebrate those improving lives through community service. The awards reflect the wider mission of the Scientology Volunteer Minister programme, created by author and humanitarian L. Ron Hubbard, through which trained volunteers provide practical support in communities and during crises.
